Hard-to-watch footage: Criminal Yanis Yushabaev murdered at a gas station in Hadera
Police have launched an investigation and are searching for suspects. MADA teams evacuated the victim to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
Yanis Yushabaev, 40, a married father of three known to law enforcement, was murdered today (Sunday) in a shooting at a gas station near Caesarea. MADA teams arrived at the scene to provide medical treatment and evacuated him to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in critical condition, where his death was later pronounced.
MADA reported that the incident was reported at 15:51. Paramedics arriving at the scene found a man with no pulse and no breathing, suffering from significant penetrating wounds.
"When we arrived at the scene, we observed a man about 45 years old who was unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing, suffering from significant penetrating wounds to his body. While performing advanced resuscitation efforts, we evacuated him to the hospital in critical condition, fighting for his life," said MADA medics Idan Elmalach, Shoham Asraf, and Elhanan Kafir.
Yushabaev, a resident of Or Akiva, was a high-profile intelligence target for the Hadera police and the Coastal District's Central Unit. In recent years, he had been arrested multiple times on suspicion of involvement in serious crimes, including throwing fragmentation grenades at homes and businesses, shooting at private residences, and setting fire to dozens of vehicles.
Officers from the Hadera station have opened an investigation and are currently collecting evidence and searching for suspects. Police Commissioner Dani Levy also arrived at the scene. Authorities emphasized that this is an active criminal investigation and further details are expected to emerge.
