"They preferred a hypocritical agenda over saving lives": Yoseph Haddad attacks Spain

Prominent advocacy activist Yoseph Haddad revealed on his X account an outrageous international incident involving an Israeli rescue delegation en route to South America. The team, heading to Colombia following a severe earthquake that struck the country, encountered hostile treatment from the Spanish government, which refused to allow the plane to pass through its airspace.
Haddad sharply criticized the decision, highlighting the severity of the act:
"What the world needs to know is that Spain did not allow the Israeli team's plane to pass through its territory. They don't care that it will delay the team's arrival in Colombia, and they don't care that this is a life-saving mission."
The Spanish refusal led to a significant delay in the arrival of the Israeli teams to the disaster area, where every minute is critical for locating survivors.
An Israeli rescue team is currently in Colombia to help locate and rescue civilians from the rubble. The dispatch of the delegation was made possible following an official request by the new administration in Colombia, which took office after years of estrangement under the previous president. Haddad did not spare the Spanish government, adding:
"They preferred to put their antisemitic and hypocritical agenda before everything. Shame and disgrace!"
The move was intended to renew humanitarian aid but encountered an ugly political obstacle. The incident places the unacceptable mixing of political tension and urgent humanitarian missions at the center of international discussion.
