"They threatened to destroy our business": The drama behind a restaurant dispute
Mothers who arrived with seven children at a restaurant claim they were expelled due to a small order of 120 shekels. The restaurant manager reveals a different side of the story, alleging serious threats were made by the customers.

Ayala Levy Adar arrived with her friend and their seven children with a simple goal: to provide a light meal for the children. Since the mothers were not hungry, they requested to order only two children's meals for a total of 120 shekels.
According to Adar, even though the restaurant was not crowded, the staff refused to allow them to sit in such a group, asked them to leave, and did not offer a reasonable alternative. When she posted about the incident online, she was surprised to find that many users criticized her, arguing that occupying a large table for such a small order is unfair to the business.
On the other hand, the branch manager, German Khananiev, describes a completely different reality. According to him, the group of about 12 people insisted on sitting specifically in the internal, air-conditioned space, which is limited to 40 seats and requires a minimum order per diner—a condition that was clearly explained at the entrance.
The manager notes that upon entering, the mothers began to connect tables on their own to take over the space:
"They started dragging and pushing tables together. When they asked to order only two children's meals, the waiter tried to gently remind them of the minimum order policy, but they chose to ignore it. In an instant, they pulled out cameras, started filming the staff, and threatened: 'We will destroy your business.' It was a terrible experience."
Khananiev emphasizes that, contrary to their claims, they were offered to move to the spacious outdoor area or take the food as takeout, but they refused to cooperate.
This incident reflects the challenges of modern consumer culture. On one hand, families looking for practical and affordable solutions for outings, and on the other hand, restaurateurs struggling for every available table to survive economically. A little more listening and mutual understanding could have turned this into a positive experience for everyone.
