"He was inside the cuckoo's nest - part was published by me": The former senior official in Netanyahu's office caused a storm

2026 Elections: Ben Caspit and Yinon Magal spoke today (Monday) about the option of forming a government with Mansour Abbas, against the backdrop of reports that Yoav Segalovitz is expected to join Ra'am. Caspit recalled the famous flip-flop of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with Abbas at the time and mocked him. Yinon preferred to warn of the consequences.

Ben Caspit reminded Yinon Magal using clips from the past that he actually supported, before Mansour Abbas joined the change government, his joining the Netanyahu government: "Mansour Abbas established the government with the other side and boom-trach! It is indescribable. Simply indescribable."

Yinon Magal was outraged: "Mansour Abbas allowed illegal construction for Bedouins, you still, despite everything we have seen, think that Mansour Abbas is the great leader of the Arab world. Let's bring in a Trojan horse despite everything we have seen. There are those who learned from October 7 and there are those who did not. There is a population here that is undermining the state. We are not noticing what is happening here. Entire areas are being conquered by the Arabs: the Negev, the Galilee, cities that are becoming mixed and also employment. We are not noticing. The frog that is being boiled in a pot, at first the water is pleasant, later it is less pleasant. Oh, how we will get it. Oh, how we will get it."

Magal played a clip of a Gazan who claims that in Gaza they want Gadi Eisenkot to come to power: "In Gaza they support Eisenkot. Why do all the haters of Israel want Bibi to fall? What is their interest in Netanyahu and the right-wing bloc falling? I would be happy to hear. Maybe because Eisenkot is Moroccan and they want a Moroccan, maybe because his mother wears a head covering?".

Caspit responded with mockery: "The funniest thing is that Qatar wants Eisenkot. You, Yinon, are the best electoral asset that Eisenkot has." Regarding Mansour Abbas, he said: "That was one long and ridiculous whine. I am playing for a person things he said about the Netanyahu and Abbas government and he is trying to rewrite things. There was a debate then, Netanyahu wanted to escape in order to remain Prime Minister, and therefore wanted to bring Abbas into the government. October 7 did not break out because of Mansour Abbas. He condemned October 7 harshly. October 7 did not happen under the Bennett-Lapid government. It happened in the government after that."

Magal noted with pride: "I am a free man, this is my country, I am the landlord." Caspit answered him: "If I were in the studio, I would hug you." Magal replied: "We have a camp, we have a concept, what are you better at? You were Bennett a second ago and now you are Eisenkot. You are hollow, a puppet."

During the broadcast, Magal started a fascinating philosophical monologue in which he scolded Ben for focusing on criticizing the individual (Netanyahu) and not dedicating himself to the collective (Judaism). Ben Caspit was not impressed by the words, mentioned the words of Yoav Horowitz from the interviews he brought at the weekend to all channels and mentioned Netanyahu's failures in the last term.

"You are a prisoner inside the event of the man, you are a slave to your hatred. No matter what happens, you will walk around this world and everything is because of the figure. I have a worldview, Jewish identity, settlement, sovereignty, if it is not him today, tomorrow it will be someone else. But because he is talented, he manages to unite the camp, I support him," Magal explained his support for Netanyahu. "He asked me if I wanted anything and I told him I didn't want anything - I am promoting an agenda."

After that, Magal opened the newspaper this morning and noticed an article published in Israel Hayom against Netanyahu and while doing so he compared it to the attitude Ben Caspit gives to Netanyahu: "You are sub-standard, lies. Tweeting a stupid publication, this is an example of your entire attitude towards everything related to Netanyahu. It doesn't matter if it's a lie or the truth and it's against Netanyahu, you will validate it and give it the stamp of approval."

Caspit chose to come out in favor of Horowitz: "Yoav Horowitz is trying to save the country. He was inside the cuckoo's nest inside. Part of the publications he talks about were published by me."

After that, he referred to the Qatar-gate affair and the affairs that came out of the office in the last term: "This is the most prestigious recruitment of agents that has ever been in Qatari intelligence - they know it. You have no argument, Yinon. Argue about the facts. You are complaining that we say Netanyahu has no heart? How do you define a person who took his eldest daughter and removed her from his life?". Magal was surprised: "Are you involving children?".

Caspit concluded: "He is truly the mother of all sins. It is not funny. On this man's watch, 1,200 Jews were slaughtered in one day. Because he is talented and not responsible for anything, it is impossible to go to any country - everyone hates us."
