"He dies today": Messages of the suspect in ordering the murder of Binyahu Razi revealed
A hearing was held at the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court to extend the detention of Agam Tsarfi, suspected of ordering the murder of Binyahu Razi. During the proceedings, incriminating messages were revealed.
At the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court, a hearing was held this morning (Wednesday) to extend the detention of Agam Tsarfi, the former partner of Binyahu Razi, who is suspected of ordering his murder at an Airbnb apartment in Jerusalem. During the hearing, the messages she sent him before the murder were revealed, in which she wrote: "You said that Shilat and I are whores, right? Come and see what whores do," and "I will show you how to behave with kids like you."
It was further revealed that after she invited the group to carry out the murder, including Linor Sasson and her son Aviad Sasson, the main suspect, she tried to incite the participants by telling them: "They took our phones, fine them." While gathering clubs, knives, and a meat tenderizer in Tsarfi's living room, she told the suspects: "I will finish him, he dies today." At that point, Sasson took a knife and stabbed Razi to death.
Yesterday, Sasson was arrested after a manhunt that lasted about two and a half weeks. Investigative actions revealed that during his escape, he hid in various locations in the center and north of the country. Through an operational effort by detectives of the Central Unit (YAMAR) with the assistance of the police aerial array, he was arrested in the Harel Tunnel while on his way to Jerusalem in a taxi.
Earlier yesterday, a 34-year-old officer in the Israel Prison Service (IPS) from Hod HaSharon was arrested on suspicion of obstructing an investigation and breach of trust. According to the suspicion, she helped Sasson escape. The covert investigation began following intelligence received by the IPS, suggesting that the officer, who serves in a detention facility where the brother of the murder suspect is imprisoned, is having an affair with him, and that they acted together to obstruct the investigation.
The officer was arrested in a joint operation by investigators of the Crime Fighting Unit (YALAP) of the Jerusalem Police and the Israel Prison Service. She was transferred for questioning, following which a decision will be made regarding a request to extend her detention.
Last Thursday, the police announced that two additional suspects had been arrested, including a 16-year-old relative of the main suspect and David Keren, an 18-year-old resident of Elad. The police representative stated at Keren's detention hearing that "he is effectively a connecting link between those who ordered the murder and those who actually carried it out."
As recalled, a week ago the Department of Internal Police Investigations (DIPI) announced that a traffic policewoman was questioned on suspicion of obstructing justice. According to DIPI, the policewoman allegedly met with Sasson and Huta shortly after the incident and was updated on the details. She subsequently performed actions intended to obstruct the investigation without reporting it to the authorities. She was released under restrictive conditions following her questioning.
