IDF: Shooting incident reported in Susiya area, southern Hebron Hills

During a confrontation between Palestinians and a Jewish farm owner, the latter's weapon was stolen. Large IDF forces are pursuing the suspects who fled toward the village of Yatta. The farm owner sustained moderate injuries.

The IDF spokesperson reported today, Saturday, on a shooting incident currently under investigation in the Susiya area (Judea Brigade). According to initial reports, a confrontation broke out between Palestinians and a Jewish farm owner in the southern Hebron Hills, during which the attackers seized the farmer's weapon, fired at him, and fled the scene.

The Israeli citizen sustained moderate injuries after being struck in the head by a stone. IDF forces were dispatched to the area and have launched a pursuit of the suspects, who reportedly fled toward the village of Yatta with the stolen weapon.

MADA reported that the victim, a man in his 20s, was conscious when he met with medical teams, suffering from a head injury. He received initial medical treatment and was evacuated to Soroka Hospital in moderate condition.
