IDF Exposes Hamas Plan to Plant Explosives Near Gaza Displacement Camps
The IDF released an internal Hamas document from April 2024 showing plans to plant explosives near Gaza displacement camps to protect operatives while endangering civilians.

The IDF revealed an internal Hamas document detailing plans to plant explosive devices near displaced persons camps in the Gaza Strip. The strategy aimed to protect the terrorist organization's leadership while deliberately endangering civilians.
Authored in April 2024 and recently uncovered, the document shows Hamas's engineering department proposed detonating explosives near camps as troops approached. The tactic sought to generate panic and create a smokescreen for escaping operatives.
Additionally, the plan included planting explosives along civilian evacuation routes to delay IDF advances and firing sound bombs inside camps to cause chaos. The military stated this is further evidence of Hamas exploiting the civilian population for terror activities.
