Suspected Terrorist Infiltration Thwarted at Binyamin Farm
An attempted terrorist infiltration near Ma'ale Levona in the Binyamin region was thwarted Monday after a farm owner detained one suspect and security forces caught a second.
A terrorist infiltration attempt was thwarted this morning near the Havat Ram farm close to Ma'ale Levona in the Binyamin region. Two Palestinian suspects attempted to enter the farm area but were intercepted thanks to the alertness of the owner, who performed a suspect arrest procedure and apprehended one of them on the spot.
Security forces rushed to the area and launched a manhunt for the second suspect, who fled into a nearby wadi. The operation involved the local security coordinator, IDF forces, and the Binyamin Regional Council security team, who eventually located and captured the second fugitive hiding nearby.
Both suspects were transferred to security forces for further interrogation. Defense officials are investigating strong suspicions that the two planned to carry out a terrorist attack at the farm, marking a hostile terrorist activity incident. The owner's vigilance averted a potential disaster.
