The IDF eliminated a Hamas sniper and targeted several key terror operatives in recent airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, while continuing operations to dismantle strategic underground infrastructure.
IDF Eliminates Hamas Sniper in Southern Gaza Strike
The Israel Defense Forces announced that an air force aircraft struck the southern Gaza Strip and eliminated Adi Adli Abd Alaaser, a sniper in the military wing of Hamas. According to the military, the operative had recently worked to advance attacks against security forces and Israeli civilians while systematically violating ceasefire understandings to rebuild terrorist capabilities.
"Yesterday, the IDF struck in the southern Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Adi Adli Abd Alaaser, a sniper in the military wing of the Hamas terrorist organization," the military spokesperson stated. "In recent times, the terrorist advanced terror plots against IDF forces and Israeli citizens, and worked to rehabilitate the organization's capabilities while systematically violating the ceasefire. The terrorist was eliminated from the air in order to remove the threat."

Targeted Strikes Against Key Operatives
The elimination of the sniper joins a series of targeted counterterrorism operations carried out jointly by the IDF and the Shin Bet over recent days. On Friday, Ibrahim Fawzi Ismail Muhsin, a Nukhba platoon commander, was eliminated in the Nuseirat area. Another strike in Khan Yunis neutralized Muhammad Kamel Suleiman Muhsin, with both individuals involved in advancing rocket-firing plans and reconstructing Hamas command structures.
Earlier, security forces targeted Hasan Mahmud Siam in Gaza City, who participated in the October 7 massacre and held hostages including Amit Soussana, Keith and Aviva Siegel, and Dafna Elyakim, alongside operative Adham Subhi Salim Ziyara. Additionally, the elimination of Muhammad Hamad Muhammad Gabain was cleared for publication, after he was involved in holding nine Israeli hostages. In Nuseirat, security forces and the Gideonim unit eliminated Saher Nadal Lutfi Sakar, a Global Jihad operative who drove the motorcycle used to kidnap Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or.
Destruction of Strategic Underground Infrastructure
Alongside operations targeting commanders, the military is waging an intensive campaign against Hamas infrastructure along the Yellow Line. Following an incident last week where an engineering vehicle struck an explosive device without causing casualties, the army responded with extensive strikes.
Simultaneously, combat teams from the Givati Brigade and Yahalom combat engineers destroyed a strategic two-kilometer underground tunnel route in the southern Strip designed to target troops. This followed the recent exposure of a 600-meter tunnel in the central camps that crossed between the Yellow Line area and Hamas territory.
