IDF forces conducted an airstrike in the Gaza Strip earlier this week, eliminating Muhammad Muhsin Namr Yazji, a commander in the Shati Battalion of the Hamas terror organization.

Throughout the war, the terrorist was involved in holding hostages in the Gaza City Brigade area, including Emily Damari, Romi Gonen, and Matan Angrest. In a separate strike carried out by IDF troops in the Sabra area, Muhammad Fawzi Muhammad Awad Jamal, a terrorist in the Daraj Tuffah Battalion of the Hamas military wing, was also killed.

Recently, the operatives advanced terror plots against IDF forces and Israeli citizens, working to rebuild Hamas capabilities while systematically violating the ceasefire. They were eliminated from the air to remove the threat they posed. The IDF stated that Southern Command forces are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue operating to remove any immediate threat.
