Holon Teens Arrested for Filming Themselves Vandalizing Police Cars on TikTok
Police in Holon arrested two teenagers, aged 13 and 15, after they posted TikTok videos kicking police cars and insulting officers. Both were released under restrictive conditions.
Police arrested two teenagers, aged 13 and 15 from Holon, after they filmed themselves on TikTok vandalizing police and municipal inspection cars. The two were filmed giving the middle finger to officers, were questioned at the local station, and were released under restrictive conditions.
The incident began during the holiday, when two videos were posted on the TikTok social network. The footage shows the youths giving the middle finger to police officers and Tel Aviv municipality inspectors. They were also filmed kicking police cruisers and inspection vehicles, and sharing the acts on their accounts.
Following the distribution of the footage online, the police opened an investigation. Holon station officers carried out a series of operations that quickly led to the identification of the suspects, two local residents.
Police addressed the incident, stating: "Upon learning of the publication of the videos, an investigation was opened during which operations were carried out leading to the location and arrest of those involved." The teenagers were transferred for questioning at the Holon station on suspicion of involvement in the acts, and upon its conclusion were released under restrictive conditions for the continuation of proceedings against them.
