Four Wounded in Hebron Shooting Attack as IDF Eliminates Two Terrorists
Four people were wounded in a shooting attack near Hebron on Friday. IDF forces neutralized the two terrorists after a pursuit, while security forces imposed a cordon on nearby villages.

Four people were wounded on Friday morning in a shooting attack near the Yehuda Junction, southeast of Hebron. MDA reported that two victims are in serious condition and two are lightly wounded. IDF forces rushed to the scene and eliminated the two terrorists who attempted to flee following a short pursuit. Roadblocks have been established in the area.
Security Forces Response and Clashes
A well-known local medic documented the moments of the shooting and was heard shouting that active gunfire was continuing for over twenty minutes, preventing rescue teams from reaching the wounded. The soldiers present at the scene engaged the terrorists, who initially fled before being neutralized nearby. A cordon was placed on several surrounding villages while MDA paramedics treated the injured.
Political Repercussions and Warnings
Defense Minister Israel Katz commented on the security situation, stating that hostile elements intend to attack Israel during the election period. Katz blamed opposition leaders Yair Lapid, Naftali Bennett, and Yair Golan for undermining security assessments. In response, opposition leader Yair Lapid dismissed the warnings, arguing that there is no operational justification for preemptive strikes prior to the vote.
