Hapoel Tel Aviv Falls 97-83 to Dubai as Satoransky Suffers Injury
Hapoel Tel Aviv's four-game EuroLeague winning streak ended with a 97-83 loss to Dubai, overshadowed by a scary concussion injury to Tomas Satoransky.

Hapoel Tel Aviv's four-game winning streak in the EuroLeague came to an end on Friday evening with a 97-83 defeat against Dubai. The Reds struggled offensively, led by a weak performance from Elijah Bryant, who finished with just three points, while Antonio Blakeney added 11 points as the team trailed by double digits for most of the game starting from the second quarter.
However, the loss became a secondary concern following a scary incident in the third quarter when Tomas Satoransky landed awkwardly on the court and appeared to lose consciousness. Players from both teams reacted with great alarm, and the match was halted for several minutes. The Czech guard was evacuated to a Dubai hospital, where medical staff confirmed he is fully conscious and likely suffering from a concussion, bringing a sigh of relief to the club.
Hapoel Tel Aviv head coach Dimitris Itoudis addressed the injury after the match, stating: "The most important thing is to pray that Satoransky is okay. I understand he is fully conscious, and we hope it is not something serious. According to the medical staff's update, I understand he is doing fine."
Commenting on the game itself, the Greek coach added: "We started the game well, but in the second quarter and the beginning of the third, we were not good. We need to know how to get to the free-throw line, as they got 17 more shots than us. We have so many creators and post-up players, yet there is a gap of 17 free throws. I will analyze this. Besides, it is a marathon, and we need everyone."
