The tension behind the scenes in the Likud movement is escalating: internal struggles over the structure of the list of candidates for the Knesset, the issue of districts, and the reserved spots of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continue with full force.

It was recently revealed that as part of compromise efforts and attempts to align positions within the party, the reserved representation promises in the list will be significantly reduced — a move that could change the situation for new candidates.

One of the main options being seriously considered is the complete cancellation of the "new woman" slot, which could deal a fatal blow to the chances of the young candidate, Hadar Muchtar, who is currently competing for it and was counting on it as her entry ticket to a realistic spot on the list.

Yesterday, Saturday, the politician went to visit Rabbanit Bruria Zvuloni to receive a blessing for success ahead of the Likud primaries expected to take place in the coming weeks.

"Ahead of the Likud primaries, I visited my Rabbanit," Muchtar wrote.

Muchtar's challenge is now doubly complex: in order to compete in the primaries at all, she is required to receive special approval from Netanyahu to shorten her seniority period in the party. Sources in the party clarify that the Prime Minister will grant her the long-awaited lifeline only if he is convinced that she brings with her a clear electoral value and new mandates at the ballot box.

As recalled, Muchtar recently arrived to receive the blessing of Rabbi Shlomo Mahfud ahead of her new political move, but the meeting quickly veered into areas she did not expect at all.
