An improvised explosive device planted by masked suspects caused damage to the office of Greek Migration Minister Thanos Plevris in Athens, with no injuries reported.

An arson attack targeted the office of Greek Migration and Asylum Minister Thanos Plevris in the upscale Kolonaki district of Athens early Sunday morning, according to police reports.
Security camera footage broadcast by Greek television network Mega captured two masked suspects arriving at the building around 2:15 AM local time. Wearing Halloween-style masks to conceal their identities, the perpetrators carried backpacks containing an improvised explosive device assembled from two gas canisters.
After placing the device at the main entrance, the suspects fled the scene seconds before the explosion occurred. The blast caused significant damage to the building's front door and shattered glass windows in the vicinity. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Greek police have launched an extensive investigation, reviewing surrounding security footage to trace the escape routes of the perpetrators. Minister Plevris strongly condemned the attack on social media, asserting that the manner in which the explosives were planted demonstrated a clear intent to kill. Political parties across the Greek parliament also issued strong condemnations, while no arrests have been announced so far.
