Giorgi Yermakov Receives Fresh Ukraine Call-Up Ahead of Nations League
Ukrainian goalkeeper Giorgi Yermakov has received another national team call-up ahead of the UEFA Nations League matches against Northern Ireland and Georgia.

Goalkeeper Giorgi Yermakov continues to solidify his standing in Ukrainian football. The 24-year-old goalkeeper, who left Haifa in the summer after a successful year, received another call-up to the Ukraine national team for its final two UEFA Nations League group stage matches.
Yermakov has become a regular fixture in coach Andrea Maldera's squad, who continues to show trust in him, though he is still awaiting his senior international debut. Since returning to his homeland, Yermakov has maintained solid form between the posts, making 11 appearances across all competitions, conceding 7 goals, and keeping 4 clean sheets.
In a recent interview, Yermakov expressed his excitement about the prospect of earning his first cap: "It is a dream, 100 percent. But even when you reach the national team, every footballer understands that this is a different level, where you can learn something new from your competitors and keep improving to become even better."
Ukraine currently sits third in Group B2 with 4 points after four matchdays. The team will face Northern Ireland away on November 14 before hosting Georgia on November 17, with Yermakov competing for the starting spot alongside Anatoliy Trubin and Dmytro Riznyk.
