Gal Gadot replaces Lior Suchard: El Al's new direction
El Al is retiring its iconic safety video after nearly a decade with mentalist Lior Suchard. The airline is launching a new series featuring top-tier stars, though presenter Niv Sultan will not be part of the project.

A revolution in the skies: after nearly a decade, the national airline El Al is parting ways with its iconic safety video featuring mentalist Lior Suchard and launching a brand-new series. The intriguing project is based on a unique combination of advanced technological innovation alongside a glittering cast of four of the most prominent and successful names in Israel and the world. Their goal is to provide passengers with a refreshing, prestigious, and international flight experience from the moment of takeoff.
At the head of this team stands Hollywood star Gal Gadot. For her, this marks her first business collaboration with an Israeli company of this magnitude since her resounding campaign for the company HOT. Alongside Gadot, her close friend, presenter and actress Rotem Sela, will participate, joined by actor and creator Lior Raz. Completing the prestigious quartet is Israel's representative in the NBA, basketball star Deni Avdija, who adds a sporty and youthful energy to the project. Notably, presenter Niv Sultan will not participate in the video series.
The decision to produce a series of videos, rather than settling for a single one, was intended to create variety and ongoing interest for frequent flyers, in line with current trends among the world's leading airlines. El Al places great emphasis on combining advanced technology with the human element, aiming to turn classic safety instructions into exciting, experiential, and memorable content that captures the audience's attention.
