The leak, likely originating from accessory manufacturers preparing for mass production, reveals a significant visual change to the back of the device.
End of the vertical row: Apple-style camera bump
The most prominent design change concerns the structure of the camera array. Samsung is abandoning the lens arrangement in a separate vertical row, a hallmark of recent years, and is adopting a raised "Camera Plateau" across the width of the upper device section. This structure, reminiscent of Apple's design language in the iPhone Pro models, is intended to accommodate advanced internal cooling, implement Qi2 wireless magnetic charging, and manage heat emission from AI processors.
Beyond the shape change, the renders indicate the abandonment of one rear camera. Reports suggest Samsung has decided to remove the 3x zoom 10MP telephoto lens, relying instead on digital cropping from the 200MP main sensor. This change is expected to free up internal space and help the company curb rising production costs.
