Frida Uziel: 'I Found Out About Our Breakup From an Article'

After participating in 'Dancing with the Stars', Frida Uziel found herself dealing simultaneously with the end of her highly publicized relationship with Itay Benishu—a breakup that caught both fans and the media by surprise.
'After the breakup, I had a crazy week. Everything ended with a boom, both 'Dancing with the Stars' and the relationship. In retrospect, I should have flown away and used that time for a real vacation, but I just stayed at home, and that didn't do me any good,' shares Frida regarding the feelings that accompanied her during those days. The fact that two significant chapters in her life came to an end at once left her at home, dealing with the silence.
One of the most complex moments in the process was the way the news leaked to the media before things were finalized between the two. 'I discovered that we had broken up through an article. It went up before we had finally separated. It was a difficult period; one day we woke up to a report that we had broken up, so okay, fine. We are not in contact today,' she explains regarding the detachment and the shock.
Public exposure and the intense interest of followers and the media were not long in coming and followed her even on the street, during her most personal moments. 'Someone approached me on the street and asked if we had really broken up and if the article was true. It was very embarrassing,' she recalls.
