Israeli Entrepreneur Launches Free AI-Powered Invoicing Platform
Israeli entrepreneur Liyad Marom has launched Alufim BeCheshbonot, a free AI-developed invoicing and financial management platform for small businesses, challenging software firms charging hundreds of shekels annually.

A 29-year-old Israeli entrepreneur, Liyad Marom, has launched a free financial management and invoicing platform named "Alufim BeCheshbonot" (Invoicing Champions), disrupting a local digital sector where small businesses and freelancers typically pay hundreds to thousands of shekels annually for accounting software. Developed entirely without prior coding experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, the system cost just a few hundred dollars to build, allowing Marom to offer it completely free of charge with no hidden fees, trial periods, or credit card requirements.
The platform has already secured official approval from the Israel Tax Authority for accounting software operations. It operates via a website alongside dedicated Android and iOS applications, enabling users to generate all standard business documents including tax invoices, receipts, price quotes, and delivery notes, as well as automatically request allocation numbers from the tax authority. Ahead of its widespread launch, the platform successfully onboarded nearly 1,000 beta testers following a promotional post on Facebook.
Alufim BeCheshbonot also provides accountants with direct access to download financial reports and receipts. An upcoming AI-powered feature for scanning and automatically collecting expenses directly from Gmail is currently pending final bureaucratic approval from Google. Marom emphasizes that user data remains strictly confidential, noting that system administrators have no access to businesses' financial turnovers or document contents, viewing only technical registration metrics.
Complying fully with tax regulations, data is secured on local servers within Israel and retained for at least seven years, complete with standard-format data export capabilities to ensure users are never locked in. While the current service is open to all Israeli businesses, future updates will introduce integrated credit card processing and Bit payment options directly within the generated documents.
