Flydubai Flight Passengers File Multi-Million Dollar Lawsuit After Cockpit Attack
Flydubai flight passengers hire Naschitz Brandes Amir for multi-million dollar lawsuits against the airline and authorities following a cockpit attack.

Passengers from the dramatic Flydubai flight have chosen the prominent law firm Naschitz Brandes Amir to represent them in massive multi-million dollar lawsuits against the airline, the Ministry of Transport, and other entities. The decision followed consultations with other leading firms, including Herzog and Goldfarb Seligman.
As previously reported, the passengers formed a dedicated steering committee to handle legal actions and communications with authorities. The committee is led by Zvika Mans, CEO of Barak Capital Underwriting—who was involved in subduing the attacker—alongside members Tal Eisenberg, Daniel Schlichter, Itay Perlman, and Shir Maor, all of whom were passengers on the flight.
The incident took place on September 29 during a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. Passenger Tali Mans heard shouting from the cockpit, prompting Israeli passengers to investigate. They discovered the co-pilot stabbing the main pilot as the aircraft began to dive.
Passenger Yaniv Hayoun managed to stabilize the aircraft while other passengers subdued and tied up the attacker. They administered first aid to the wounded captain and enlisted another off-duty pilot traveling as a passenger to assist in safely landing the plane in Saudi Arabia before returning to Israel.
