A veteran olive oil producer from the Galilee has achieved impressive success at the prestigious international TERRAOLIVO competition, with the global jury awarding the brand's products top marks in a blind tasting.
Saba Habib is a long-standing brand for the production of olive oil and traditional products in the Galilee, founded by Saba Habib, one of the founders of the village of Maghar. The factory and visitor center are located in Kibbutz Parod and offer products such as pure olive oil, naturally cured olives, and stone-ground tahini.
The brand continues to record achievements in the international arena, having won three gold medals at the TERRAOLIVO 2026 competition, which is considered one of the most prestigious and influential olive oil contests in the world.
The competition is held annually and features hundreds of high-quality olive oils from dozens of countries. The oils are evaluated in a blind tasting by an international panel of olive oil experts, professional tasters, researchers, and culinary professionals, and are ranked according to a variety of parameters.
Winning the competition is considered one of the most prestigious quality marks in the global industry.
