Barcelona received 50 million euros for the scorer of the winning goal in the World Cup final, who signed until 2031: "I hope to help win as many titles as possible"
After long weeks of negotiations, the deal became official today, Saturday: Ferran Torres has been sold from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain for 50 million euros. The forward signed a contract until 2031 and has been assigned the number 9 shirt.
The player was expected to return to Barcelona training alongside his Spanish national team teammates, but Hansi Flick approved his request to remain absent until the negotiations were finalized. As previously reported, the player officially approached the Barcelona management last week to express his desire to move to Paris, and the club did not stand in his way. The Catalans now intend to use part of the funds to complete the signing of Rodri, and potentially Julian Alvarez.

Ferran, the scorer of the winning goal in the World Cup final, leaves Barcelona, with whom he won three league titles. He recorded 65 goals in 207 appearances.
