The deal for Ferran Torres' transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain is in its final stages. Both clubs have agreed on a transfer fee of 50 million euros plus bonuses that could bring the deal to 55 million euros. Thus, Barcelona will recoup almost the entire amount it once paid to Manchester City for the forward.

Ferran was supposed to return to Barcelona training along with the rest of the Spanish national team members, but Hansi Flick approved his request to be absent until the negotiations are completed, and in fact, if nothing unexpected happens, the player has finished his time at Barcelona.

As a reminder, last week Ferran officially approached the Barca management and expressed his desire to move to Paris. At this stage, the negotiations accelerated, and after several conversations in recent days, the agreement was reached. The amount that will come in from the sale of Ferran will allow Barcelona to sign Rodri, while at the same time the Catalans continue to try to add Julian Alvarez.

Ferran, the scorer of the winning goal in the World Cup final, will leave Barcelona, with whom he won three league titles. He scored 65 goals in 207 appearances. Until Barca signs a new forward, Flick confirmed that he will look for solutions within the squad and will try to use Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo, Anthony Gordon, and Karim Adeyemi as false nines.
