A truck driver involved in a fatal crash on Route 465 that killed a 35-year-old man and injured two others has been released under restrictive conditions as police investigate the incident.

A truck driver involved in a fatal traffic accident on Route 465 near the village of Abud has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by negligence and released under restrictive conditions, police announced.
The Saturday night collision involved a truck and two private vehicles. A 35-year-old man was killed after his car became trapped underneath the truck's trailer, while two other individuals sustained moderate and minor injuries. Rescue teams worked at the scene to extract the trapped victim.
The truck driver, a resident of Qalansawe in his 20s, was arrested and questioned by the Judea and Samaria District traffic accident investigators. During a court hearing held on Sunday, he was released under restrictive conditions as the investigation into the circumstances of the crash continues.
The accident occurred at approximately 22:32, when MDA (Magen David Adom) received a report regarding the collision on Route 465. Medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene found the 35-year-old man unconscious with severe traumatic injuries and pronounced him dead. Two other casualties, including a man in his 30s in moderate condition and another with minor injuries, received medical treatment at the scene.
MDA medics Nati Roth, Yosef Nahon, and Shlomo Levi recounted: "This was a severe traffic collision between a truck and a private vehicle. Inside the car, we saw a man in his 30s unconscious and suffering from very severe injuries. We performed medical checks, but unfortunately, we had no choice but to pronounce him dead while simultaneously treating two other injured individuals."
