In second place is Sarit Hadad with 438 plays, with only seven plays separating her from Omer Adam, who takes third place with 431 plays.
Closing out the winning top five of Israeli music, which is entirely based on the Mediterranean genre, are Itay Levi in fourth place with 419 plays, and Peer Tasi in fifth place with 394 plays.
International arena: classics dominate the airwaves. In the international music sector, local stations gave priority to timeless classics that preceded the pop stars of the present: The Beatles take first place on Israeli radio with 157 plays.
