This past weekend, the Day of Love, Tu B'Av, was celebrated. Former footballer and media personality Eyal Berkovic gave a tip on what to look for in a girl to make a relationship healthy and positive.
In the podcast "The Wizard and His Sons," his son Lior, who shared that he recently broke up with his partner of three and a half years, was left alone on the Day of Love. His father, Eyal, did not remain indifferent:
"I'm tired of all this attention. Be a man. You and your partner decided to break up? Deal with it, that's life. Go out and have fun, don't wallow in self-pity for me. Do whatever you want, just don't complain that you're alone. What, am I not alone sometimes? Every person is alone."
Berko spoke about his relationship with his partner, Michal: "Now I have a partner and everything is fine, but what happened? So you're alone... Did I have periods as a bachelor? I didn't, because I don't like being alone. Lior has plenty of friends, what's the problem? Stop wallowing in self-pity. Everything has pros and cons. Send me a message that you're alone, I'll come and hug you."
Berko Jr. revealed: "This is the first time in ten months that my heart is free, I am ready for love. There is nothing like sleeping alone, but it's also nice to have a little warmth and love." Eyal gave him a tip based on the relationships he experienced in the past:
"The thing, in my opinion, that is most important in a girl is that she has no ego. Beauty is important, character is important, her family is important, everything is important. But the thing, and I tell you from experience, that is most important is whether she has an ego or not. If she has no ego, it's a recipe for many years. If she has an ego, it's a recipe for explosions all day long. From experience."
He further added: "Listen, it's important. Imagine otherwise, every day she fights with you and ego, 'why I don't do and do, and why you have a career and I don't, and be with the children.'
