Eyal Berkovic saved his son from a financial collapse: "For one million shekels"
Eyal Berkovic spoke out in a podcast against the financial conduct of Gen Z, called for focusing on simple pleasures, and revealed that he rescued his son from a collapse: "I saved Lior this month with one million shekels."
In the podcast "The Magician and His Sons" on the Podium platform, Eyal Berkovic criticized the financial conduct of Gen Z (born between 1997 and 2012), which includes his son Lior Berkovic and their co-host Yoav Gavizon.
"You have anxieties because your generation does not deal with simplicity," Eyal told Lior and Yoav. "Enjoy things. Do not get into adventures. That is what is crushing you," he added.
Lior replied to his father that he does not see anything wrong with adventures, noting that he had bought tickets to the Burning Man festival in the United States, to which his father responded dismissively: "That is not an adventure."
Later, Eyal shared details about a near-serious financial entanglement of his son, revealing: "I saved him this month with one million shekels." Lior admitted that his father saved him from collapse and emphasized: "I trust him very much."
In a previous episode, Eyal Berkovic spoke about his philosophy of leisure. "I have accepted that I will not find excitement like I had in football. I must get used to the fact that simple and small things make me happy. For me, a restaurant is exciting. Sitting with my partner for dinner is exciting," he described.
