After it was revealed on the podcast "The Magician and His Sons" that Lior Berkovic underwent a cosmetic procedure and received forehead injections despite his young age, the former footballer addressed the issue again during the "Moriah and Berko" program on Reshet 13.
During the broadcast, Berkovic brought Dr. Amir Zarach, an aesthetic treatment expert who performed Lior's injection, into the conversation. According to the presenter, he discovered the procedure by chance during a meeting with the doctor while on vacation in Ibiza.
"What luck that we met in Ibiza, otherwise I wouldn't have known. Did I throw you both under the bus? It's okay, Lior forgives me," Berkovic said on air.
The revelation sparked a reaction from Lior Berkovic, who responded to his father's words in a story: "A, I am 28 years old; B, Dad, you ruined my life; C, I have another secret, but you will never find out that one in this lifetime."
During the interview, Eyal Berkovic revealed that he himself had also undergone a similar treatment in the past:
"I will confess, I also did Botox here near the eyes. It's not that bad at all; it was fine and it worked, but after 3 to 4 months it wore off."
Berkovic added: "So what? Every 3 to 4 months you have to do Botox? A quick procedure, quick-quick. Okay, next time I will come to you, maybe it will last me longer than 3 to 4 months."
As recalled, Lior Berkovic first revealed the procedure during "The Magician and His Sons" podcast on "HaPodium" after his father jokingly asked him about Botox injections. Lior explained that he decided to undergo the treatment due to his high exposure to cameras and the forehead lines that bothered him.
Eyal Berkovic had previously criticized his son's decision, stating he did not understand why a young person would need such a treatment, though it appears his opposition stemmed primarily from the age at which Lior chose to undergo the procedure.
