Execution from the sky: A Russian drone chases and attacks a Ukrainian citizen
Footage published on social media shows a Russian drone striking a merchant at a roadside market in Kherson. The man was seriously wounded but survived the attack. Russia is systematically targeting the city, which was liberated by Ukraine, in an attempt to force its abandonment.

Drone terror, Russian version: A Ukrainian citizen was seriously wounded after being attacked by an explosive drone in the city of Kherson in the south of the country, the National Police of Ukraine announced on Tuesday.
In footage published on social media, a vegetable vendor at a food market is seen trying to escape from a Russian explosive drone, fleeing behind his commercial vehicle. The drone does not abandon its target, circles around the vehicle, dives at the man at high speed, and explodes.
According to the police report, the man sustained very serious injuries, including severe physical trauma, a concussion, shrapnel wounds, and limb fractures. He was taken for medical treatment, and his condition is reported as serious but stable.
The incident occurred in the Tavriiskyi district, in the northern part of the city, which had a pre-war population of over one hundred thousand people. This area is the furthest from the Dnieper River and the territory occupied by Russia, from where drones are launched to strike civilian areas. This part of the city continues to maintain a degree of civilian life.
Yesterday, Russia attacked two high-rise residential buildings in the city using glide bombs launched from fighter jets. At least one person was killed in the attack, and major damage was caused to the residential buildings. Kherson was liberated from the Russian army in 2023, and since then, Russian forces have been indiscriminately shelling the city in the hope of causing its residents to abandon it.
