August is at its peak, summer vacation is drawing to a close, and many parents are looking for activities that are both fun and educational. Bank Hapoalim has taken up the challenge and launched 'Poalim Junior City' this week—a massive interactive complex dedicated to smart consumption and financial literacy, located at the Yordei HaSira complex in the Tel Aviv Port.

The best news for parents is that this attraction, designed for families with children aged 5 to 13, is free for all residents of Israel, regardless of their bank. The complex will be open from August 18 to 27. To participate, families simply need to register in advance via the bank's website.

Those who attended the launch to support the project included Dr. Hila Korach, the presenter for Bank Hapoalim, and young Avia Reuven, who plays Irena in the bank's commercials. They were joined by a host of celebrities, including Ortal Amar, Adi Buzaglo, Yochi Apolion, Naama Kasry, Ruslana, Shani and Jackie Sapir, and Kobi Adri.

The experience simulates the adult world. Young visitors begin their journey in an employment complex, where they receive an employee card, a hat, and an apron to prepare for their shift. After working at various stations, they receive a salary for their efforts—a first step in understanding the value of money.

Once they have earned their money, the children move to the shopping area. There, they experiment with purchasing products while navigating interactive stations that provide practical tools for making sound financial decisions.

To conclude the experience, children can enjoy 'Bizbazim', a humorous play about smart financial conduct. This unique initiative is a direct continuation of the bank's long-standing efforts to promote financial education in Israel, as well as the 'Poalim Junior' service, which allows children to start managing money from a young age under parental supervision.
