Bored during vacation? Four teenagers arrested on suspicion of breaking into a scooter shop

Four teenagers were arrested after allegedly smashing the entrance door of a shop in Safed, breaking into it, and stealing several scooters, it was learned today (Tuesday).

The incident occurred at night in mid-August, when police received a report regarding a break-in at a local scooter shop. Northern District police officers who arrived at the scene discovered that the entrance door had been smashed and that several scooters had been stolen.

Officers managed to track down the four teenagers, who were arrested shortly thereafter while riding the stolen scooters through the city streets.

The Israel Police called on parents to show responsibility and remain involved in their children's activities, especially during the summer vacation. "We will continue to act decisively against lawbreakers for the sake of maintaining public safety," they emphasized.
