Following Manor Solomon, West Ham may add another big name to their attacking line. The Hammers are considering a surprising move to sign 39-year-old Jamie Vardy, who became a free agent after leaving the Italian club Cremonese.
According to reports in England, manager Nuno Espirito Santo is still looking for an additional striker ahead of the remainder of the Championship season. If the deal is completed, Vardy is expected to collaborate with Manor Solomon, who joined West Ham in the last 24 hours.
Vardy became one of the greatest symbols of Leicester City during his 13 seasons at the club and was one of the central players in the sensational English championship title win in the 2015/16 season. Throughout his Premier League career, he scored 145 goals in 342 appearances.
The striker also has significant experience in the Championship, having been part of two league promotions during his career. Now he may return to English football and assist West Ham, together with the Israel national team player, in the fight for a quick return to the Premier League.
