On the way to the quarterfinals: The youth national team defeats Bulgaria
The blue-and-whites remain undefeated in the group stage of the European Championship Division B, securing their third win after an impressive 90:67 victory over Bulgaria. Maya Zilbershlag led the team with 27 points and 9 rebounds.

The Israeli youth national team is on the verge of securing a spot in the quarterfinals of the European Championship Division B. Led by head coach Roi Eisenberg, the team recorded its third victory in three games on Sunday, defeating Bulgaria with an impressive 90:67 scoreline. Only an extreme scenario could now prevent them from advancing to the knockout stage.
Israel faced little resistance against Bulgaria, largely due to a dominant performance by Maya Zilbershlag, who scored 27 points, and the team's efficiency from beyond the arc, hitting 13 three-pointers at a 41 percent clip. Israel pulled away to a double-digit lead in the second quarter, and a 10:0 run at the start of the third effectively sealed the game.
All teams will have a rest day on Monday. On Tuesday, Israel will face Ukraine in the final group stage match, where a win will secure the top spot in Group B.
Scorers for Israel:
Maya Zilbershlag — 27 points (9 rebounds, 4 assists), Maayan Gorin — 16, Tamar Karmi — 15 (3/4 from three), Mika Kanitz — 14, Rotem Shtiklaro — 10 (9 assists), Or Gadot — 6, Mika Yanai — 2.
