Hapoel Be'er Sheva goalkeeper Niv Eliasi is on the verge of reaching an agreement with the Greek club Levadiakos, following the club's decision to send him out on a one-season loan. Levadiakos, to which Hisham Layous and Joel Abu Hanna were also loaned, finished last season in fifth place in the Greek league.
Eliasi's salary, represented by the Katsav brothers, will not be affected by the move to Greece, but before giving the green light to the deal, he is waiting for developments with a club from the Portuguese league with which he is in contact. In any case, Levadiakos made it clear to the goalkeeper that he would need to make a decision by the beginning of next week. The reason: in three weeks the Greek league gets underway, with Levadiakos visiting PAOK Thessaloniki.
Eliasi stood in goal for Hapoel Be'er Sheva for most of last season, but after two rounds in the upper playoffs, he was replaced by Ofir Marciano. The latter kept his place in the league and the cup, and Eliasi subsequently lost his spot.
