Filmed a Calvin Harris concert - and got hit by a pizza from the sky
Who among us hasn't had this happen: a fan who arrived at a Calvin Harris concert in Belfast was filming her favorite DJ when suddenly a pizza thrown in her direction landed on her with force. "Thanks to everyone who helped me, what a night," she wrote in the caption to the video that went viral.
A fan who arrived at a Calvin Harris concert in Belfast found herself starring on social media for a reason not really related to music: while she was filming the show on her phone, a pizza flying through the air hit her. The Scottish DJ and musician performed on Saturday night, August 22, at Boucher Road Playing Fields in Belfast.
In a video posted on Instagram by user @bodyfitmums, which has since gone viral, you can see in slow motion the pizza flying towards her while she is filming the stage and hitting her. "Nothing like getting hit by a pizza at Calvin's," was written on the video. In the post itself, she added: "I'm not joking. I was covered from the chest down... Imagine if it had landed on my face. And I still kept dancing, covered all over. Dedicated to the DJ." She also thanked the people around her who tried to help her clean up: "Thanks to those who tried to help clean me up, even strangers. What a night."
Harris, for his part, shared the video, but we are quite sure he had nothing to do with the pizza throwing itself. These days he is busy with a series of DJ sets at the Ushuaïa club in Ibiza, Spain's legendary party island.
