El Al Launches New FLY CARD Promotion Offering Free Flights with Isracard
El Al launched a FLY CARD promotion with Isracard, offering a free flight ticket to new and transitioning users who meet spending targets by March 2027.
El Al's frequent flyer club has launched a new promotion running through the end of 2026, offering a complimentary flight ticket to new and transitioning members. Customers who sign up for the El Al FLY CARD issued by Isracard, or existing cardholders shifting from the legacy Cal-issued card to the new Isracard platform, can qualify for the bonus by meeting specific spending requirements.
The initiative comes ahead of a crucial deadline, as legacy FLY CARDs issued by Cal will stop accumulating points and diamonds starting January 1, 2027. The promotional window runs from November 1 through December 31, 2026. Participants who accumulate 10,000 shekels in purchases by March 31, 2027, will be eligible for a free ticket to a wide range of El Al and Sun Dour destinations.
Eligible destinations include Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Paris, Rome, Madrid, Munich, Milan, Bucharest, Prague, Sofia, Vienna, Zurich, Larnaca, Paphos, Tbilisi, Lyon, Verona, Krakow, and Tirana. The complimentary flights can be redeemed during designated off-peak periods across 2027 and early 2028.
Moshé Morgenstern, CEO of the frequent flyer club and FLY CARD, noted that hundreds of thousands of customers have already transitioned to the new card. He emphasized that the campaign provides a final opportunity for remaining holders of legacy Cal cards to secure ongoing benefits and a free vacation before point accumulation ceases on the old platform.
