Eisenkot Party Slams Channel 14 Over False Lebanon Talks Report
Gadi Eisenkot's "Yashar!" party has strongly denied Channel 14 reports claiming he is negotiating with foreign officials regarding Lebanon, demanding an immediate retraction and a public apology.

The "Yashar!" party and former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot have issued a sharp response to reports broadcasted by Channel 14 and Kol Chai radio diplomatic correspondent Shlomo (Mendi) Rizel.
The controversy erupted after Rizel claimed during the "Israel HaBoker" program that a political source informed him Eisenkot is conducting direct negotiations with foreign officials and governments regarding Israeli policy in Lebanon and "day after" scenarios, allegedly involving agreements on an Israeli withdrawal from the region.
"A political source tells me that Gadi Eisenkot is conducting negotiations with foreign entities regarding an Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon," Rizel stated on air. He added that discussions are already underway about future developments before any government formation, questioning the involvement of external actors.
In response, Eisenkot's party released a categorical denial, labeling the allegations as entirely baseless and demanding immediate retractions.
"The report published by Shlomo Rizel in Israeli media is a complete lie, devoid of any factual basis, and never happened," the party stated. "We demand that Channel 14 immediately remove the false report and that Shlomo Rizel publish a clear and unequivocal public apology for spreading falsehoods."
The party strongly criticized the broadcaster, asserting that Channel 14 acts as a propaganda mouthpiece and is escalating its smear campaigns as the political landscape shifts. Eisenkot's faction emphasized that no disinformation campaign will alter the public's verdict.
