Eden Harel pleads: "Pray for my son"
The media personality arrived at the Western Wall and asked her followers to join her in prayer for her son, an IDF soldier: "Pray for my son, Uria ben Eden, that with God's help he will come home to us for Rosh Hashanah"
Television presenter Eden Harel arrived on Tuesday at the Western Wall plaza, where she shared a personal request with her Instagram followers. Against the backdrop of worshippers who had gathered for the midnight Selichot prayers, Harel explained that she was there for filming but intended to stay for the service.
In a story uploaded from the site, Harel asked her followers to join her in prayer for her son, who serves as a combat soldier in the IDF:
"I need to pray for my son. Help me. Pray with me that Uria ben Eden will come home to us for Rosh Hashanah. Please. Amen!"
As recalled, just last week Harel's journey on "MasterChef: Dream Team" came to an end. She was the third contestant to leave the season following a group challenge where participants were tasked with preparing a full meal. Ultimately, Harel faced elimination against Manal Ismail after her chicken liver pate on a seed cracker received the lowest score.
"I didn't want to be eliminated first. Third is fine," Harel said following her departure. She explained that she entered the competition to experience a new challenge and step out of her comfort zone. During the season, she received praise from the judges, including for a kosher fish shawarma dish prepared during one of the tasks. Harel returned to "MasterChef" about a decade after participating in the VIP version of the program, emphasizing that she remained committed to keeping kosher throughout the competition.
