Dubi Amitai Elected Unanimously to Third Term as Business Sector Chairman
Dubi Amitai has been unanimously elected to a third term as Chairman of the Business Sector Presidency, continuing his leadership through economic and wartime challenges.
The Business Sector Presidency announced today that Chairman Dubi Amitai has been unanimously elected to a third term.
The Business Sector Presidency serves as the umbrella organization for 14 economic sectors in the country. Amitai also holds the position of Chairman of the Farmers' Association.
Throughout the war, Amitai has been the senior representative of businesses in discussions with the government, addressing issues such as extensive reserve duty call-ups, labor shortages, and damage to businesses in combat zones. He also played a key role in amending compensation frameworks during operations involving Iran.
In addition to his organizational leadership, Amitai completed approximately 600 days of reserve duty in the north as a deputy brigade commander in Brigade 769 with the rank of colonel.
"Politicians speak to their base and audiences, but the economy is where our common interest meets," Amitai stated today. "The business sector is the engine that can return the economy to growth, generate investments and employment, and above all, reconnect the economy to the global market."
