Pagaya Completes 100th ABS Deal, Surpassing $10 Billion in 2026 Issuances
Israeli fintech Pagaya Technologies completed a $650 million auto loan ABS deal, marking its 100th securitization and pushing 2026 issuance past $10 billion.
Israeli fintech company Pagaya Technologies, which provides AI-driven software and product solutions for the financial system, has reached a significant milestone by completing a massive asset-backed securitization (ABS) deal totaling $650 million. The transaction, named RPM 2026-5, is entirely backed by auto loans.
Beyond its substantial financial scale, the deal holds symbolic and strategic importance for Pagaya: it marks the 100th successful securitization deal completed by the company since its inaugural ABS issuance in 2018.
Leadership in the US ABS Market
Since its first issuance, Pagaya has established its position as a leading issuer in the United States of asset-backed securities rooted in unsecured consumer loans. To date, the company has raised over $44 billion to finance lending across a wide range of segments, including personal loans, auto loans, and point-of-sale (POS) loans.
Strong demand for Pagaya's issuances has continued robustly through the current year. This latest transaction brings the company's total issuances since the beginning of 2026 past the $10 billion mark.
Expanding Institutional Investor Base
Thirty-five diverse institutional investors participated in the current transaction, including five new investors joining the company's RPM program for the first time. This metric highlights the expansion of the institutional investor base and ongoing trust in Pagaya's technological models.
Pagaya's technological platform utilizes advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to enable financial institutions, banks, and lenders to expand lending volumes to their customers while ensuring precise underwriting and advanced risk management.
"The completion of our 100th ABS deal demonstrates the immense trust that our institutional partners place in Pagaya's platform," noted Gal Krubiner, co-founder and CEO of Pagaya. "Over the past eight years, we have deliberately and methodically built a robust capital structure, backed by long-term committed capital and diversified funding sources."
Krubiner added that this infrastructure enables the company to continuously scale operations alongside lending partners while offering leading capital market investors access to high-performing consumer assets rigorously vetted through artificial intelligence.
