From the field to the studio: The reality star arrives from reserve duty for an interview

Nissim Zalait is back in the MasterChef kitchen, and this time he has come to show how much he has learned and improved since his last appearance on the show. The contestant, who reached the semi-finals in the 11th season, previously shared how he spent many days in reserve duty since October 7th, even watching episodes with his comrades in the field. This Tuesday morning, he arrived for an interview on "Morning News" after recently completing another stint of reserve service.

"I hope to take the whole pot this time; it depends solely on me," he declared. "It's very fun to return; the experience is amazing and different from the last time. I understand what I am heading towards, even though the season is full of surprises. You don't get used to it, but you feel more comfortable in the studio."

When asked if he feared risking his previous success, Zalait admitted:

"Yes, the biggest fear was to be eliminated first. From here on, the rest is a bonus. Every time you cook in front of judges who are such great chefs, you learn and improve. In our daily lives, there is no moment to stop the routine and cook."

Discussing the challenge of balancing his personal life with the show and the army, he noted:

"I have three children in the army on regular service and two very small daughters, so I feel the intensity of July-August. These are sharp transitions."

Regarding his professional growth, he explained that the techniques learned on the show are constantly on his mind, which is reflected in the "madness" of this season. He added that the support from his family and fellow competitors remains incredible, noting that he was heavily involved in reserve duty even during his previous season.
