The second group of contestants on "Dancing with the Stars" took the stage this evening, Saturday, for their final performances before the show transitions to live broadcasts. As part of the third-person challenge, Australian actor Nate Buzolic and his dance partner Julia Shahar incorporated Daniella Gilboa, who returned from captivity, to sing and dance alongside them. Despite the emotional atmosphere in the studio and warm responses from the audience and judges, the professional level on the floor ultimately led to Buzolic's elimination from the competition.
During the critique phase, the actor addressed the abilities of the other dancers and noted:
"The other couples here are so amazing at this stage that I feel I don't belong here."
Buzolic, who has become a well-known figure in Israel in recent years due to his extensive advocacy work since October 7, summarized the experience in tears and thanked the panel of judges, the dancers, and his partners in the endeavor for the opportunity to take part in the project.
In his farewell remarks, the actor addressed Shahar directly and complimented her work as a mentor over the past few weeks. He noted the significant investment both of them made in rehearsals and the support he received from her, and emphasized his deep connection to Israel and its residents. According to him, he intends to continue his activities for the country even after his journey on the show has ended.
For her part, Shahar expressed great pride in the process they went through together throughout the season and said that they had maximized their abilities on the floor. Now, the couple that has ended their journey will have another opportunity to return to the competition as part of the "lifeline" stage, which will be broadcast later.
At the end of the episode, the list of couples continuing to the live broadcast stage was determined. Among those moving on to the live shows are Eden Golan and Artem Liaskovsky, Shiri Maimon and Rafael Fleishman, Avishag Semberg and Ivan Denisov, Tsahi Halevi and Nina Sol, Bar Brimer and Sanna Sokol, Amir Banai and Romi Nof, Dian Schwartz and Lotem Madmoni, and Noa Cohen alongside Eitan Cripps.
