Dorit Hakim Launches Hollywood Partnership With Mark Wahlberg
Israeli producer Dorit Hakim partners with Lee Shira and star Mark Wahlberg on new Hollywood projects. Their upcoming film starring Naomi Watts is set to open the Toronto International Film Festival.

Acclaimed Israeli creator, author, and producer Dorit Hakim, writer of the bestseller Direction: West, is embarking on an exciting new chapter. Joining forces with her partner, producer Lee Shira of the Siena production company, the duo is taking Hollywood by storm with a highly ambitious production schedule.
The two recently attended the festive Los Angeles premiere of the new action thriller By Any Means, starring Mark Wahlberg and directed by Elegance Bratton. Hakim and Shira played a key role in producing the film alongside Wahlberg himself, and it appears this fruitful professional partnership with the movie star is set to continue into his future projects.
From Los Angeles to Toronto
Following their stay in Los Angeles, the producers are scheduled to head to the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), where another film they produced, The Housewife, will be screened. The highly anticipated film, which is set to open the festival, features an all-star cast including Naomi Watts, Tye Sheridan, and Luke Evans. Later on, the film will join the festival circuits in San Sebastian and Zurich, where Watts is expected to receive a lifetime achievement award.
Personal Transitions
Alongside her professional milestones, Hakim is also navigating significant changes in her personal life. Recently, after 27 years of marriage and three children together, she separated from her husband, high-tech billionaire and Check Point co-founder Shlomo Kramer. Since the split, Hakim has been dividing her time between Tel Aviv and Ibiza, with rumors already swirling behind the scenes about a new romance sparked on the shores of the Spanish island.
