Dor Peretz: "We need reinforcement and refreshment, we need a deep and high-quality squad"
The Maccabi Tel Aviv star was asked about the reinforcements that have yet to arrive. On Goldhar: "The fact that Jack Angelidis is here indicates that something has changed." Miller: "We need to fight on all fronts."

After dropping from the Europa League qualifiers to the Conference League qualifiers, Maccabi Tel Aviv will return to local football tomorrow (Sunday, 20:00, Sport4) and will be hosted by Maccabi Netanya in the Toto Cup. This morning, the Cup holder held a press conference ahead of the meeting, and after the remarks made by Jack Angelidis and Steven Vaneeren, coach Kenny Miller and star Dor Peretz also stood before the microphones.
Kenny Miller said about the 3:1 against CSKA Sofia:
"We did enough things to send the game to overtime. We shouldn't have lost the first game 3:0. We had to react, and the players reacted very well. We won, and we won as we should. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough because of the mistakes we made. Regarding tomorrow, the players have a good mindset. We need to react, we believe we can reach the final."
On the game against Maccabi Netanya:
"There is a strong squad here, we will make changes, but this is the semi-final. We will go up to win, because we want to be in the final. This is not just a game for us, it is not a preparation game. We need to do what we always want to do, play our football. We played very good football this season, we achieved good results. We are building towards the start of the league and we also have very important games in Europe. When you are a big club, you need to fight on all fronts. We will be ready for tomorrow and also for Europe."
Dor Peretz:
"The elimination was very, very, very disappointing, we arrived with a bad result and yet we played a tremendous game. It wasn't enough. We arrived with a very big hole. Unfortunately, that's what happened, but you can also see the encouraging and positive side - there were 90 very good minutes and we will continue with that. We will need to learn to keep a clean sheet as much as possible, that is what will give us the strength for the rest of the season."
The midfielder was asked about the squad and the reinforcement that has yet to arrive:
"There are people here who manage the system. In order for us to take the championship and run for all the titles, there needs to be a very deep and high-quality squad here. I can agree with Steven regarding the fact that there is a good quality team here, but it needs reinforcement and refreshment, players who will pull it forward."
On Mitch Goldhar:
"He is very present, and that is through Jack. The fans need to understand that this is the balance of power - in recent years Jack was not there, but the very fact that he is here says that something has changed and Mitch's view of the club has changed. Therefore Jack is here. Processes take time. Jack has been swimming in the football world for a long time, at Maccabi Tel Aviv there is no time but one needs to be patient to see what this process brings us - as players, as fans, as a whole system."
On Roy Revivo:
"He is still a player of the system and is subject to the club's standards. Whoever manages the system decides what they are."
