Foreign diplomats from France, Belgium, and Poland were attacked by masked extremists during an olive harvest visit in the West Bank village of Taybeh.

Foreign diplomats from France, Belgium, and Poland were attacked on Saturday by masked extremists during an olive harvest visit to the West Bank village of Taybeh. The attackers approached the diplomats' vehicle with clubs and stones, demanded identification, and chased them on an ATV, shattering a window on the Belgian consulate car.
Escalating Violence in the West Bank
Activists at the scene reported that the army failed to respond despite real-time alerts. The incident follows another violent episode involving Heidi Levine, a photographer for The Washington Post, who underwent surgery on her left hand after being attacked in a separate incident.
Separately, IDF and Border Police forces were dispatched to the unauthorized outpost of Shirat Tzion near Beit Lid following clashes between Israelis and Palestinians during olive harvesting, which resulted in injuries and conflicting reports over a vehicular incident.
