David Roddy signed with Hapoel Jerusalem: "The right place for me"

American forward David Roddy signed today with Hapoel Jerusalem until the end of the 2026/27 season. The 25-year-old Roddy, 1.96 meters tall, arrives in the capital after four years in the NBA. He is expected to earn about one million dollars.
Roddy may not be a tall player by basketball standards, but in terms of size and weight, he is an interior player. He played at Colorado State for three years before being selected 23rd overall in the 2022 NBA Draft by Memphis. His NBA career had its ups and downs, as he was traded to Phoenix in the 2023/24 season and from there struggled to find his place in the best league in the world, playing mostly in the G League. In total, he recorded 173 NBA games with 6.3 points per game.
After signing, Roddy said:
