Beitar Jerusalem midfielder Boris Enow, who deleted all his photos on Instagram following abusive messages he recently received from a number of fans, received hundreds of messages of support and encouragement on Tuesday.

Enow replied to some of the fans, thanked them, and clarified that he is aware that the vast majority of the crowd appreciates and supports him. He explained that he moved the photos to the archive at this stage in order to gain peace and focus on football.

At Beitar, they added: "Enow himself was disappointed with his output in Europe; he has high self-criticism. He is one of the best in the country in his position and one of the most important players on the team." Enow also received messages of encouragement from his teammates, who told him: "We have all been through this; usually it is children who do not know how to behave."

This event became a topic of conversation among Beitar fans on social media, with harsh criticism directed at those who send abusive messages, as Miguel Silva experienced in recent months.

At the club, they concluded: "Maybe something good will come out of all this and these things will stop. It is not even a quarter of a percent of Beitar's crowd, but these things hurt the players and the team."
