From Bride and Groom to Parents in Three Hours: The Birth That Began at the Chuppah
A joyful drama in Belgrade: A bride in a blue dress and in advanced stages of pregnancy said her vows — and was rushed straight to the delivery room. The viral footage has garnered millions of views, and the couple has already returned home with their newborn.

A wedding day is usually planned down to the smallest details, but for a young bride in Belgrade, the official ceremony turned into a medical and particularly emotional drama within a few hours. According to a report in the Serbian newspaper Blic, the bride's water broke exactly at the end of the exchange of vows — moments after she said the long-awaited "I do."
In a video shared by the couple on Instagram that documented the event, the bride is seen wearing a long blue dress while holding her advanced pregnant belly, as the local registrar hesitates slightly but tries to finish the formal procedure quickly. The footage went viral almost immediately, crossing the million-view mark within just a day, and drew thousands of enthusiastic comments, blessings, and similar stories from users who experienced an unexpected combination of a wedding and a delivery room.
Just three hours after the end of the ceremony, the bride was already holding her firstborn son. The couple later shared that the excited and anxious husband spent hours outside the hospital until the discharge permit was granted. Despite the extreme change in plans, the bride shared moving photos from home and concluded that it was the happiest day of their lives.
