From the secret operation in Turkey to Iran: Donald Trump makes a series of statements

US President Donald Trump provided a series of intriguing statements last night (between Tuesday and Wednesday), confirming for the first time the details of the secret operation intended to extract him from Turkey, addressing the possibility of running for president again in 2028, and sending sharp messages to Iran.

President Donald Trump addressed the secret extraction operation in which he was transferred to another plane during his departure from Turkey, and clarified: "I go by the Secret Service and the military. They wanted me to get on another flight, I do what they say. I assume there was a threat there. I didn't really ask too much about it. I get a lot of threats."

Donald Trump was also asked about the possibility of him trying to run for president once again in 2028, for a third term in the White House, and admitted: "I would love to run, but the law is very strong, even though everyone wants me to do it."

The US President was asked if he trusts the Islamic Republic, and scolded the reporter: "I don't trust Iran. Why are you saying I trust Iran?! I am the last person who would trust Iran. They lied to me all the time."

Later, Donald Trump declared that the United States has complete control over the Strait of Hormuz: "Nobody else, only us. We have complete control over the Strait of Hormuz. We have control over it. Nobody else, only us. Our navy is amazing. Things are going great for our country."
